Spice Diana features Harmonize on new song kokonya
Ugandan artiste Hajarah Namukwaya popularly known as Spice Diana has dropped a new song dubbed ‘Kokonya’ featuring Harmonize.
In ‘Kokonya’, (loosely translated from Luganda to mean teasing) Spice Diana and Harmonize tease each other with romantic lines.
The chemistry between the two can be felt in the lyrics which are in Luganda, English and Swahili, with the outstanding part being the opening verse which Harmonize does in Luganda.
The audio was produced by renowned producer, Nessim Pan Production.
The new jam has been well received in Uganda, with fans flooding Spice Diana’s page, congratulating her and Harmonize for pulling off ‘Kokonya’.
Harmonize and Spice Diana connected early this year when the latter traveled to Tanzania to performer at the album launch of the Konde Worldwide founder.
Harmonize later visited Uganda and hit the studio with Spice Diana, and recorded the song that ‘Kokonya’ that has finally been released over five months later.
Harmonize had revealed plans of having a music tour in Uganda, and was among the few international artistes lined to perform at Eddy Kenzo’s music festival, but the event was cancelled due to the corona virus pandemic.
