Naira Marley’s “Soapy” Takes No 1 Spot on Apple Music’s Top 100 Nigeria

Despite criticisms that have trailed Naira Marley‘s recently released “Soapy” song and dance, the song has shot up to the number one spot on Apple Music’s Top 100 songs.

What this means is that “Soapy” has been the most played song in Nigeria and well, it’s a good news that Naira Marley himself has taken to social media to celebrate.

Remember that celebrities like Kaffy berated the artiste and even condemned the song and dance which prompted Naira Marley to respond to her, telling her that she is no longer the queen of dance and that she had gone with the previous generation.

The criticisms it would appear have done nothing to stop people from listening to the song or even dancing the dance and he has now taken top spot.

A few days ago, a music crew accused him of stealing their song and dance but he has refuted it, swearing on the lives of his four children and his mother in a short video posted online and even swearing on the Quran, saying he had never met them before.
