Runtown Wins in Court Over Former Music Label, Eric Many

It’s victory at last for the sound god after a Federal high court in Abuja on Friday last week passed a ruling against Runtown‘s former music label, Eric Many restraining them from interfering in his business and musical activities.

Runtown who launched his own music group, Sound God Music Group in August last year had been having a running battle with his former music label over issues that ultimately led to both parties going to court. Well, the court has had the final say and it is in favor of Runtown and his former label will have to live with that.

Runtown announced his new music label in the US in August last year, saying “Over time, we have been blessed with the talent and wisdom to apply it to use. It’s time we take it a step higher, and carry the sound and the message to where it belongs; the top.”

Songs like “No Permission” on which he featured Nasty C and “Oh Oh Oh” released in November last year have been done under the new label and with this victory in court, we expect to hear and see even bigger things from the talented artiste this year.
