“Stop Spreading Stupid Rumors” – Davido Lays Idowest Exit Rumors to Rest

The industry was thrown into frenzy earlier this week when news filtered out that DMW boss, Davido had terminated the contract of Idowest, one of the label members whose song, “Ji Masun” on which Davido featured went viral.

Well, the label boss and singer himself, Davido has come out to debunk the claims, calling them stupid rumors even as he declared that Idowest was a member of the DMW gang for life. He also revealed that not only is Idowest still a label member, he will also perform first at his concern in London.

Posting on Insta story, Davido revealed that like every other label member, Idowest who it will be recalled was signed in May this year remains a member of the tribe contrary to rumor being spread by mischief makers.

Idowest himself has not addressed these rumors which could either mean the PR was to be managed by the label which has now put out a statement via the label boss or it could mean that there’s some truth to all the rumors and it was only settled in house.
