Rapper Zoro Narrowly Escapes Gun Shot By SARS.

Self acclaimed King of Igbo rap, Zoro is feeling lucky right now after surviving shots being fired at them by men of the Nigerian Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) in Port Harcourt.

According to the rapper, they were double-crossed by the SARS operatives and flagged down but even when they stopped and got down, the operatives still opened fire and started shooting at them.

It will be recalled that there have been protests about the activities of men of the SARS led by Nigerian youths and artistes like Falz, Tiwa Savage, Simi, and others which eventually led to the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo instructing the Inspector General of Police to disband the unit.

Zoro gained recognition after a few impressive songs like “042”, “Otu”, “Owu sa gi”, “Safe journey” and “Ogene” featuring Flavor. He steadily stole the hearts of fans across Nigeria (Ibos and Non Ibos alike) with his talents. However, it was his track “Landlord” that plunged him into fame fully.

The “Mbada” crooner, Zoro has collaborated with artistes like Hcien, Lord Cornel, Falz the Bad guy, Kool P, Awilo Longomba, Slow Dog, Flavour and more.

Zoro is popularly known for his serial hit songs including “Mbada”, Ses2‘s “Anyi Noya” (Remix) ft Zoro, Faruk‘s “Chop & Run” ft. Zoro & Waga G, “Stainless” ft. Simi, Slowdog‘s “Away Match” ft. Zoro, DJ Nana‘s “Normal Level” ft. Mr Real & Zoro and “Oyoko” ft. Chidinma.
