Blackface Naija claims Wizkid & Banky W “stole” his song in 2011: “We’ll allow the Court to decide”

One arm of the now defunct Plantashun Boiz, BlackFace has filed a lawsuit – if his social media update is to be believed – against the duo of Banky W and Wizkid who he claimed stole lines off his song in 2011.

BlackFace who is demanding that the court award 100 million naira to him said “Slow Whine” off Wizkid‘s “Superstar” album released while he was with Banky W‘s Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E).

According to BlackFace, he has nothing against the duo and even admitted to grooving to their songs, but he was surprised when he was served a suit of 50 million, accusing him him of being the one in the wrong. He had responded with his own 100 million naira suit, saying he would let the court decide.

While there has been no response from either Banky W or Wizkid, BlackFace shared parts of the song on his Instagram account for fans to judge while waiting for the court to decide.

BlackFace Naija who has been in the news almost every time for lawsuits and accusations ended last year with the release of “Killah” a month after he called on Nigeria’s federal government to arrest “Amaka” crooner, 2Face Idibia over song theft.

2Face had responded with last month with a law suit following the relentless heckling from his former partner at Plantashun Boiz, slamming him with a 50 million naira lawsuit.
