The video expresses Adekunle Gold’s dissatisfaction over the song theft and voicing out his frustration at the way intellectual property theft is being carried out in Nigeria without regards for artists’ and their works and how it has eaten deeply into Nigeria’s creative industry.

“Orente” which literally means (A Loyal, Good, and Beautiful Lady) was released by the talented singer after making his musical debut with “Sade” in 2014.

Produced by seasoned Producer, Oscar, “Orente” teaches that couples do not need money or lots of it to have peace of mind and enjoy all the beautiful feelings that accompanies being in love. The song also leans indirectly towards the saying that “All that glitters is not gold”.

Earlier this year, Adekunle Gold released a Soul/Afro Pop song titled “Ire” which eulogises his late sister who died of heart complications in 2011. According to the singer, “Ire” is also a symbolic summary of his life experiences and his journey to become Adekunle Gold.
