The claim he had three albums already recorded, made when a fan asked for a new record, has turned out to be true after all, as Burna Boy drops a new album “Steel & Copper” in collaboration with DJDS (Jerome Potter and Sam Griesemer) of the United States.

Burna Boy, who has consistently courted controversy by shading those who bleach their skin, has got great visibility in Nigeria’s and indeed Africa’s music climate and has worked with some of the best music talents in Africa.
He has also released some fine numbers too, some of which have become hits, including “Dangote,” which references Nigeria’s and Africa’s wealthiest man Aliko Dangote.
He has featured on Mr Eazi‘s “Miss You Bad,” Timaya‘s “Pull Up,” R2Bees‘s “My Baby,” Dave‘s “Location,” and the works of several other artistes.
DJDS is no straggler on the music scene. It has got several tracks to its credit as well, including “I Get By,” featuring Amber Mark and Vory.
