Watch Sauti Sol’s New Release ‘Insecure’ [Video]

Celebrated Kenyan boy-band Sauti Sol has blessed us with a new song dubbed ‘Insecure’.

‘Insecure’ is the third single in their forthcoming album dubbed ‘Midnight Train’. The song premiered less than an hour ago, and it already has over 25,000 views on YouTube, an indication that Sauti Sol is on a world of its own.

The new release tells the story of a couple who have insecurities in their relationship, ranging from insecurities about their intimate life, breakup and many more.

“She’s so insecure she don’t make love with the lights on, so insecure she don’t want to talk about it, and I’m so insecure one day she’ll leave me and she’ll find another guy… I am so insecure me husomanga message ukiniachia phone, I’m so insecure I’m never telling you about it, me huenda swimo na tsho and you never leave your house with no make on… chini ya maji sini machizi twachunguzana kipolisi,” the song’s lyrics read in part.

Like their two previous releases; Suzanna and Brighter Days, the song adopts an old skul look, and takes us back to the 70s and 80s where music was all about drums, nice guitar beats and spectacular dances.

The video is colorful, and has been well executed to address the sensitive subject of insecurities in relationships with much professionalism.

One of the standout features in the new release is the guitar beats thanks to Polycarp Otieno alias Fancy Fingers.
