Ghanaian highlife and afropod diva, Francisca Gawugah, popularly known as Sista Afia, has expressed her disappointment at the fact that her work has never been recognized by the topmost music award scheme in the country, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

“I have filed for awards at the VGMA before. But for the past four years, I have never been nominated for the VGMA awards, ” Sista Afia disclosed.
However, the ‘Slay Queen” hitmaker was very optimistic and expressed hope that she will get a nomination in this year’s VGMA awards scheme.
