Remember that list we shared yesterday where Beat FM’s Olisa Adibua disagreed with MTV Base’s list of top Naija songs of 2018 and released his own list? Well, guess what? Legendary singer,  agrees with Olisa Adibua‘s choice of ‘s “Ye” as biggest Naija song of 2018.

Making the announcement at the just concluded Burna Live Concert held at the Eko Convention Center,  who took to the stage at some point during the concert praised  for the amazing year he’s had and declared that his “Ye” song was the biggest to come from the country this year.

In his words: “Anybody we dey here, if una agree with me, Ye Ye is hit song this year.”

2Baba himself teamed up with DMW‘s Peruzzi earlier in the year to drop the “Amaka” song that went viral and kind of pissed off a number of Amakas in the country and yes, the song is even in contention on so many playlists for song of the year but still, the legend recognized the magic in Burna Boy‘s “Ye”. Respect!

While MTV Base chose Wizkid‘s “Soco” as song of the year, Olisa Adibua went with Burna Boy‘s “Ye” and this should be seen as a validation of that choice.
