, one of the sons of the late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has been nominated for the Grammy Awards. Seun Kuti, who said back in October that the spirit of his late father was not in Kanye West, was nominated in the World Music category for the album “Black Times.”

Seun Kuti had submitted “Black Times” for consideration back in October. The announcement of nominees was made December 7. The award is scheduled to hold at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, United States, on Sunday 10 February 2019.
