Oluwatosin ‘Tosyn’ Bucknor is dead. Before her death, she was an on-air personality at Inspiration FM. She was aged 37.

Tosyn, who was born with sickle cell anaemia, was found dead at home on Monday November 19 by her husband Aurelien Boyer, a French man, when he arrived home from work.

Her death has been confirmed by her colleague Adegun, who wrote on Twitter: “So full of life, excitement and always willing to lend a helping hand. This is so devastating!! Rest on Voice of Lagos. Rest on Tosyn Bucknor

A law graduate of the University of Lagos, Tosyn had hosted “Fun Hour Show” on Saturdays at Eko FM. She started out as an OAP at Eko FM alongside Tee A, long famous as a comedian.

Besides operating as an OAP, Tosyn was also in the vanguard of giving hope to fellow sufferers of sickle cell anaemia. She was the mastermind, for instance, of These Genes Project, which provided help to those in her condition.

The cause of death has not been made public but might be result of sickle cell anaemia. She will be missed by a grateful nation, most especially by those whose lives she had touched via These Genes Project.
