Things are not looking good for  boss following news that the management of Eko Atlantic have denied him use of their venue for his concert scheduled to hold in December.

The artiste who has been vocal about his dislike for the way things are run under the current administration took to Twitter to vent his frustration, concluding by saying that he cannot be stopped.

During the last election in Osun state where ‘s uncle was a Governorship aspirant under the opposition PDP,  had made a lot of enemies in his bid to support his uncle, including calling out the electoral body, INEC for being bias and lashing out at the ruling party. Recent events may not be unconnected to that.

Davido is not the only artiste that has taken a liking for politics in recent years. We’ve had Olamide support the ruling APC during the last elections and then support Ambode amidst troubled times that saw he incumbent Governor lose out his party’s primary ahead of the next election.

While it is certain that Davido will find another venue for his concert, it will be interesting to see how what is looking like a mild attempt at censorship affects other artistes who may want to dabble into politics. If there’s any development, you can be sure that we’ll let you know.
