Timaya Regrets Saying Marriage Is Bad

Popular Nigerian singer, the Egberi papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya, has been unapologetic about his stance on marriage in the past.

In fact, the father of three in an interview with The Punch in July spoke about being a single father and how it allows him time for his children. “The kind of role I play in my children’s life, I don’t think some husbands do that”, he said.

After saying rather proudly that he is not a husband material, the “To U” crooner in a short clip that surfaced on social media was seeing advising young men to focus on having children and raising them as marriages don’t always work out.

Well, the public heard him and different views poured in, showing that most people didn’t share the same view as the singer.

Timaya has again come through to say people should marry if they want. While he didn’t especially claim he has changed his personal view, in a new comical short clip that showed him and indigenous rapper Phyno, Timaya seems to think people should do whatever they want, and if it’s marriage, all well.

Just recently, in an interview with Daddy Freeze, Timaya went nine years back to clarify a controversial issue that happened with his ex because, according to him, he didn’t like the way the public has associated him with a certain ideology.

This time, he offers no explanation, but rather tells people to do what they want and stop judging him.
