Wizkid and Tiwa Savage Get Cozy in New Video, Stoking Dating Rumours

When he strutted down the GQ red carpet arm in arm with British super model Naomi Campbell, the rumours of his dating Mavin Records songstress Tiwa Savage died down momentarily.

Thanks to the release of the video to Wizkid’s latest song “Fever,” in which he and Tiwa Savage got so cozy on the divan, the rumours are surging right back, claiming a monstrous lives of their own.

The video in question bears many suggestive scenes, lustful glances, firm embraces, and osculatory displays. The scenes are so steamy that some have called for the video to be rated 18+

Electing to co-opt Tiwa Savage (as his love interest) in the “Fever” video may be mere coincidental with no strings attached, not relationship in view or being entertained. On the other hand, it may also be that the duo has got something going. You can never tell with celebrities until things blow into the open and denying seems pointless, even effete.

 

But Tiwa Savage and Wizkid have got a long history, and the rumours of their dating and being in a relationship did not start this year. It has been there all along, surging, then hibernating. And surging again – like now.

Tiwa Savage has never confirmed a relationship with Wizkid. She has rather denied one. In an interview with Sound City in August, she had observed: “Wizkid and I are friends, I heard all sorts of stories about Wizkid and I, but I chose to ignore them. At a point, people said I was dating Humblesmith; later they mentioned another artiste.

“How long will I continue to debunk these rumours? I have been in the music industry for quite a while and I have grown a thick skin, so certain rumours or insinuations don’t get to me again.”

History tells us, though, that the “Fever” video wouldn’t be the first or even the second time Wizkid and Tiwa Savage got cozy and set tongues wagging. Years earlier, the duo has had some hot scenes in the video to Wizkid’s single “Pakurumo,” from his “Superstar” album.

It didn’t end there. When Tiwa Savage celebrated her birth early this year, Wizkid had fired off the following birthday wish to her: “Big birthday shoutout to a Queen!! Our Queen, My Queen! Hard worker!!@tiwasavage❤️❤️.”
