Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Visit Ugandan President Museveni

He was to have released his ninth studio album “Yandhi,” the follow up to “YE,” about a month back, but American rapper Kanye West deferred the album’s release till November because he wanted to come to Africa to explore new sounds.

Uganda, Africa, has welcomed him. And as he takes out time to explore new sounds, the rapper, who made the trip with his family, also takes out time to explore new relationships.

He was a guest, along with his wife Kim Kardashian, of the Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and gifted him a pair of white sneakers.

President Museveni said his discussion with Kanye West, which centred on promoting Uganda’s tourism and the arts, was fruitful: “I welcome American entertainment stars Kanye West and @KimKardashian to Uganda. I held fruitful discussions with the duo on how to promote Uganda’s tourism and the arts. I thank Kanye for the gift of white sneakers. Enjoy your time in Uganda. It is the true Pearl of Africa.”

Kanye West is having a great time in Uganda. Just days ago, he described himself as the best rapper in the world and the best recording artiste because the spirits of Nigeria’s Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti reggae legend Bob Marley live in him. But Seun Kuti, a musician and one of Fela’s children, refuted that.
