DMW boss, Davido continues to rise and rise, not just as an artiste or label boss, but also outside the continent and as a businessman. It was just a few days ago that the “Aye” crooner was a guest on the highly revered The Breakfast Club radio show in the US, joining the likes of Cassper Nyovest and Michael Blackson.
Well, the latest update is that Davido was the only Nigerian to perform at Jay-Z‘s Made in America music festival started by Jay-Z in 2012. The Omo Baba Olowo shared the stage with the likes of Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Diplo, Zedd, Miguel and Fat Joe.
“Fall” crooner and DMW boss, Davido rose to fame in 2011 with hit single “Dami Duro” and his debut album, “Omo Baba Olowo”, which was released in 2012 and earned him the OBO title.
Over the years, Davido has made great strides in his career with singles like “Flora my flawa”, “Skelewu”, “Aye”, “Gobe”, “Fia”, “Fall”, and more, coupled with collaborations with Simi, Sarkodie, Lola Rae, Tiwa Savage, Meek Mill, Rae Sremmurd, amongst others.
With this latest win again, it’s easy to be excited about the industry and about what else Davido has in stock. We are sure though that whatever development happens next, you’ll read it here first.
