Starboy Wizkid has just made known the release date for his much anticipated 10-track EP titled “Made in Lagos.”
He took to Twitter to make this known to his teeming fans. First he tweeted the teaser “01.10.18,” and then followed it up with “#MadeinLagos.”
“Made in Lagos” will be the singer’s fourth album since 2011, having previously released “Superstar” in 2011, “Ayo” in 2014, and “Sounds From The Other Side” in 2017.
“Sounds From The Other Side” was the Ciroc ambassador’s first Ep sold internationally, and his attempt to conquer the North American market.
While it wasn’t exactly a stupendous success – which is to be expected for one not borth in North America but trying to push afrobeat overseas – it is clear the artiste who sold out the 02 Arena this year is out to consolidate his gain in the home front with the upcoming EP.
With much talked about collaborations with star artistes such as Duncan Mighty, DJ Spinall, Olamide, and several others, the star has shown himself pleasantly prolific.
Wizkid, who has been seen in the company of top international acts recently, including P. Diddy and Nicki Minaj, has set the release of the “Made in Lagos” EP to coincide with Nigeria’s independence day.
It promises to be explosive and celebratory. Stay tuned for updates.
