Davido and Business Partner in Public Spat Over Peruzzi & Chioma
Nigeria’s artiste of the moment and “Assurance” crooner Davido and his business associate Patrick Anyaene have just had a faceoff over the Porsche Davido bought his girlfriend Chioma Avril on her birthday, and Peruzzi, who has a deal with Davido’s DMW and Anyaene’s Golden Boy Entertainment.
It all began when Instablog9ja posted a picture of a brand new Porsche Cayenne Turrbo he bought for his wife Martekor.
Patrick Anyaene had commented on the post: “At least we will see her driving it.. Unlike.. Cough cough.. Pls make her plate number.. “REALITY””
This comment was insinuating that Davido’s purchase of a Porsche for his girlfriend was merely a show for the camera and not reality.
The comment irked Davido and he responded almost immediately. “sorry my woman can’t drive yet.. plus she hates the attention and only uses my driver when she really needs to use the car and I haven’t had time to teach her to drive .. but maybe a driver will do .. u can apply.”
Not to be undone, Patrick Anyaene made another post insinuating that even Davido’s private jet was a fluke. He also insinuated that without his aid Davido could not have released a single hit since last year November.
He wrote: “Same way you bought a Jet and still waiting to learn how to fly Abi? #FakeAssIndustry. Abeg! Without me you won’t have ant HIT SINCE November last year,” most probably referring to “Fia,” and “Flora My Flawa.”
He went on to say that he was fully loaded, and the revelation so far was in fact just the beginning.
Peruzzi first caught the attention of Davido when he release “For Your Pocket” on the stable of Anyaene’s Golden Boy Entertainment. Davido, who was nominated for AFRIMMA 2018, featured on the remix of the song, which later led to DMW having a deal with Golden Boy Entertainment, making Peruzzi’s released materials to carry both companies’ logos.
This is the first public spat between Patrick Anyaene and Davido, who recently tweeted about being close to having the biggest collaboration of his career. It promises to be a long war. Or what do you think?
