Soccer Star, Didier Drogba to Collaborate with Wizkid

Former Ivory Coast and Chelsea striker, Didier Drogba is set to collaborate with award-winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid and highlflying Ivorian Afrobeats act, Afro B on the remix of the latter’s hit song, “Drogba” done in collaboration with Wizkid.

The remix of “Drogba” will see three heavyweights collaborate in a song. Drogba who is set to appear in the video played for years in England side, Chelsea FC and led the Ivorian national team to become a real force in African football.

The collaboration was not planned. A fan had tweeted at the football legend about how good it would be if Drogba and Wizkid could appear in a song.

Drogba had responded by mentioning both Wizkid and Afro B, asking if they were down for it. Both of them were and the result is the remix titled “Drogba” that is set to capture the hearts of music fans.

Afro B has since shooting to fame dropped hit songs like “Pull Up” and “Baba God“, coupled with album “Joanna” that was a massive hit with music fans and further raised his stock.

Drogba who won the African footballer of the year award twice before retiring from international football will bring a lot of fame and attention to the song and there’s no doubt at all that when it drops, fans will go gung-ho for the song.
