Yemi Alade details her Rise to Mega-Stardom on a New Episode of “Self Made Tastes Better”

Sensational afro-pop superstar Yemi Eberechi Alade, discusses her rise to mega-stardom in an exclusive interview with Brett Berish, CEO of an international wine and spirits company, Sovereign Brands.

Yemi Alade who has worked her way to the top after winning a talent show in 2010; smashed records with her hit single “Johnny”, which is now one of the most viewed videos on YouTube from any African artist – ever, and; last December released a critically acclaimed album, “Black Magic“, was the guest in the 11th episode of the “Self Made Tastes Better” series.

One of the products of the Sovereign Brands, Luc Belaire, an award winning line of French sparkling wines launched the “Self-Made Tastes Better” campaign to celebrate artists who have challenged convention and paved their own path to success.

The campaign is driven by a video series that features Brett sitting down with various self-made artists and influencers, both established and up-and-coming, to discuss the process of building their career from the ground up.

Prior to episode 11, top self-made artistes like Rick Ross, DJ Khaled and Diamond Platnumz have been featured in the series. And Yemi Alade, on this 11th episode also tells her story as it’s never been told.
