With the latest news circulating social media that “Kukere” hitmaker, Mbuk was signed to Mavins Record, the singer has come out to correct the notion that he left Triple MG to sign with ‘s Records. He claimed that it was only an arrangement ahead of the plan for Temple Music.

Via a thread of tweets, Iyanya clarified his alleged ‘signing’ with Records. The singer stated that he left his former label, Triple MG, and signed off his share to his former partner, Ubi Franklin.

Iyanya further stated that contrary to the public opinion that he signed for Records after leaving Triple MG in 2016, his relationship with the label was only an affiliation and that no contract was signed.

He also revealed in his post that it was the idea of Idris Olorunnimbe, the founder of the Temple Management Company (the owner of his new label), Temple Music.

After that, Iyanya appreciated for the role he played in the transitioning process. He hinted that he is now in a good creative space to make better music and told his fans to anticipate a series of back to back impressive singles after Ramadan.
