Davido Dragged To Court Over N60 Million Debt

Few weeks ago, a luxury jeweller who is known simply as Kaycee took to Instagram to call out DMW boss, David Adedeji Adeleke or as he is popularly referred to by his stage name Davido, for owing him £120, 000 (₦60 million) which is allegedly the proceed from a business transaction they were both involved in.

The jeweller claimed he used the huge sum to sponsor Davido and his cousin as well as label mate, B-Red when they were broke and needed to finance a project.

When Kaycee went public with the allegation, it quickly riled up the public, as opinions swayed between those for and against Davido. In fact, the accusation got a response from Davido himself, as the jeweller leaked a conversation between him and Davido, during which the “Assurance” crooner threatened to kill him (Kaycee) if he dared come to his (Davido’s) place or his father’s office.

But now, Kaycee has finally made it official by taken the case to court, a move many believed he should have started with. Once again, he takes to his Instagram page to reveal the legal letters his team of lawyers sent to Mr Adeleke’s camp demanding ₦60 million as proceeds from the jewellery Davido sold.

And as expected, the revelation has generated quite a reaction from Nigerians as many demand that Davido clarify the issue, but so far the singer is yet to respond.
