Davido Signs Idowest As Newest Addition To DMW

The news was made public via Davido’s Instagram account, where he posted a picture of the “Shepeteri” crooner signing the dotted lines. He made the announcement saying:

Welcome to DMW!!! IDOWEST!!!!!! You have proved ur worth!!!! NOW LETS GET MONEY!! JI MASUN!! Cc @officialidowest @prince_ii ?

This is coming after the DMW boss announced that the label’s first group album will be released in June 2018.

Davido also revealed that his sophomore project will be released in September.

Idowest has been one of the artistes that has enjoyed massive success in 2018 since dropping his hit single “Shepeteri” in October 2017 as is a major ambassador of the Shaku Shaku dance craze which has swept the Nigerian music scene this year like a storm.

With Idowest on board, the number of artistes on the DMW team has now increased to six.

We are excitedly looking forward to what this new signing will mean for the artiste as he settles into the DMW family which houses record label head honcho and marquee act –Davido, Dremo, Headies 2018 Next Rated Artist -Mayorkun, Yonda, and Peruzzi and Producer Fresh VDM in its fold.
