Mr Eazi Scores Exclusive Licensing Deal with Universal Africa

If there’s any artiste on the Nigerian music scene who seems to have virtually everything going in his favour at the moment right now, that artiste would have to be Mr Eazi.

In view his forthcoming, highly anticipated project “Life Is Eazi Vol. 2: Lagos to London”, the sensational superstar and his imprint, Banku Music, have just signed an exclusive licensing deal with Universal Africa.

We honestly must hand it to Mr Eazi for his ability to seemingly make all the right moves at the right time, having managed to already establish himself as a force to reckon with on the continental music scene in as little as the 5 years that his promising music career has spanned.

In such relatively little time, the 26 year old singer has not only earned himself a formidable fanbase with tee series of certified smash hits, but has also gone on a world tour, scoring a number of scintillating live performances.

It’s therefore not at all surprising that Mr Eazi has taken his music to the next level by virtue of this deal with Universal Africa.

The deal was struck on Wednesday evening in the South African city of Johannesburg where Mr Eazi and the head of Universal Africa, Sipho Dlamini, signed the necessary documents.

Ever though figures haven’t been disclosed yet, what this agreement means is that Mr Eazi’s upcoming project will be jointly released in Africa by Banku Music and Universal Africa.
