Nasty C Declares Mad Love for Nigeria

If there’s one South African rapper who’s widely loved by the majority of ardent music (especially Hip-hop) fans across Nigeria, it’s the insanely gifted Nasty C.

Over the past few years of his music career, a significant portion of the Nigerian music audience has expressed its love for the 21 year old sensational rapper. Even the likes of M.I have described him as one of Africa’s finest.

It would seem as though the feeling is at least mutual as the critically-acclaimed Durban born rapper whose real name is Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo has just recently gone on Twitter to declare his love for Nigeria.

The rapper’s tweet which has already garnered over 3,000 likes and been retweeted by more than 600 people read thus:

“I fell inlove [sic] with Naija”

The rapper, who was in Nigeria for a couple of days, has managed an impressive relationship with Nigerian artistes so far, and we believe that’s one of the major reasons he’s so in love with the country.

Collaborations with artistes ranging from Davido on the DMW boss’ “Coolest Kid in Africa” and the subsequent remix of the rapper’s “Juice Back”, to Nasty C’s Coke Studio Africa version of Runtown’s “Mad Over You” and their fiery joint “Said” easily come to mind.

Ardent fans would also recall that the rapper, whose highly anticipated debut album “Strings And Bling” is right on the verge of being released, was recently spotted in the studio with Nigerian rapper Ycee.

A few hours after his original tweet, Nasty C tweeted “I no be small time rapper ooo..” having apparently learnt a thing or two about Nigerian Pidgin England.
