Ycee & Cassper Nyovest Cooking Up New Music Together?

If the word on the street is true, then we’re pleased to inform you that critically-acclaimed South African Hip-hop heavyweight Cassper Nyovest and multi award winning Nigerian rapper Ycee might be right in the process of cooking up a banger together.

2018 has been a particularly fantastic year for the Tinny Entertainment frontman having successfully headlined his “The Juice Concert” in London earlier in the year, dropped a joint EP with label mate, Bella, and the brilliant visuals to his Eugy-assisted firecracker, “Say Bye Bye”.

After his scintillating performance at last weekend’s Big Brother Naija live show in South Africa, photos of the serial hit-maker visiting the Family Tree Records head honcho Cassper Nyovest have emerged and gone viral.

From the look of things, the two Hip-hop bigwigs who were spotted together in a studio and seemed to be working on some new music, and we can only imagine the banger of epic proportions that their joint efforts will produce.

Ardent followers of the happenings on the African Hip-hop scene would recall that Cassper Nyovest’s most recent scorcher “Check On You” which features DMW boss Davido was recorded in Lagos earlier this year.

Casper visited Nigeria at the time for the most recent edition of the Soundcity MVP Awards where the rapper took home the coveted award for Best Hip-hop in a keenly contested field.

Joining efforts with a fellow Hip-hop artiste this time around in the person of Ycee, Cassper seems to be fulfilling his earlier expressed intentions of collaborating much more with Nigerian artistes moving forward.
