Mayorkun Acquires Brand New Crib in Lagos

If there’s anything everybody knows about the Nigerian music industry, it’s that the industry – apart from being able to make the most unknown of persons famous virtually overnight – is particularly financially rewarding if you’ve got the talent for it and are willing to work hard. This is especially true if you’re a member of Davido’s 30 Billion Gang apparently.

Such is the case for 24 year old DMW hit-maker, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, who goes by the stage name ‘Mayorkun’. The talented singer who kept us thrilled with one of the biggest songs of 2017 ‘Mama’, as well as ‘Sade’ and ‘Che Che’, is now reaping the fruits of his labour as he recently announced that he has joined the league of mansion owners in Lagos.

Mayorkun, who had his first headline concert in December last year, is apparently following the footsteps of his boss, Davido, who recently acquired the 2018 Bentley Bentayga in Atlanta to celebrate the success of his 30 Billion World Tour Lagos Finale which reportedly raked in half a billion naira.

The acquisition of this new house is obviously great news for Mayorkun, especially in spite of the loss of his diamond encrusted 30BG chain at a recent concert at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The artiste shared a photo of the crib with his fans on Instagram and simply captioned it, “Humble beginnings! ?”

DMW boss, Davido, who recently featured alongside his boys Peruzzi, Dremo and Mayorkun on the labels most recent banger ‘Mind’ reposted the said photo, congratulating Mayorkun, and adding that he was happy to be a part of the singer’s success.

As Mayorkun indicated in the caption of his photo, this really is just the beginning of greater things to come for the gifted musician if the quality of his talent and work ethic are anything to go by.
