Tiwa Savage Announces Collaboration with Omarion

Tiwa Savage seems to have no plans of taking any prisoner this year, and she’s letting us all know she means business. The Mavin Records first lady, who had a particularly stellar 2017, is definitely firing on all cylinders in 2018 as well, steadily pushing the limits even on international frontiers as she recently hinted not so subtly at an international collaboration with internationally-acclaimed American singer, rapper, songwriter, actor and dancer, Omarion.

The ‘Kele Kele Love’ songstress, who garnered a significant number of national and international awards and accolades in 2017, particularly scored huge points for the release of her highly-anticipated 6-track ‘SugarCane’ EP which contained hits such as the scintillating ‘All Over’ and ‘Ma Lo’ featuring Nigeria’s uncrowned king of modern Afrobeat, Wizkid.

The AFRIMA 2017 Best Female Artiste in West Africa recently took to the photo-sharing social media platform, Instagram, to reveal to her followers and fans that she has a music project in the works which involves the 33 year old Carlifornia-born Grammy-nominated Omarion, whose real name is Omari Ishmael Grandberry. Of course, you can imagine the reaction that followed.

It definitely would be interesting to see Omarion, who seems to be making a pretty decent comeback from a musical hiatus of sorts, team up with Tiwa on this this one, and we honestly can’t wait. The collaboration would no doubt be a big plus for both artistes, especially for Tiwa who has her sights on firmly establishing her presence on the international scene.
