Timaya Slammed On Instagram by Non-Fan – “Ugly Maggot, You Don’t Represent A Real Man”

Apparently, celebrities only have to be themselves and go about their daily business to be assaulted on social media. This time, it’s the Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya, who is at the receiving of this rather unsolicited attack.

The ace Nigerian Dancehall and Afrobeat musician was caught up in an Instagram face-off with an apparent non-fan. The Grammy-nominated singer recently made an upload on the popular photo-sharing platform. The picture shows him and his two lovely daughters, Emma and Grace, ostensibly on their way to school judging by the ‘Dance’ crooner’s caption which read:

“Skool run…Best baby daddy ever.”

Fans of the DM Records boss who have kept up-to-speed with him would recall that he has emphatically stated that, although he’s not ready for marriage yet, he has no intentions of fathering children from multiple women like a good number of his colleagues in the industry have done.

It would seem Timaya is serious about this, as both Emma and Grace were born by the same woman, Barbara, who Timaya has reportedly been with since 2009.

The Dem Mama Soldier’s harmless photo however wasn’t well-received by some people, one of whom goes by the handle @lizy_silvia. The unknown lady left a comment on Timaya’s post calling him irresponsible and implying he didn’t deserve to be proud of himself.

The singer responded to her comment, calling her ugly in an effort to dismiss her. He probably should have just ignored her though, as the seemingly frustrated lady came back at him, saying he doesn’t represent a real man.
