Did Davido Just Shade Caroline Danjuma As A Gold Digger?

From all indications, it looks like we have not heard the last of the beef between DMW Emperor, Davido and actress, Caroline Danjuma. The latest seems to be a gold-digger shade the former directed at the latter on his latest song.

The whole enmity between the duo had started after the death of Davido‘s friend and Caroline‘s boyfriend, Tagbo. At the time, the thespian had penned a viral post across social channels accusing the “Dami Duro” hitmaker of complicity in the passing and asked the Police to investigate.

Such was the sequence of events which eventually led to Davido‘s invitation, questioning and eventual exoneration by Police authorities at the Lagos State Command Headquarters.

Many will recall that the widely-acclaimed Omo Baba Olowo (OB.O) attacked Caroline Danjuma on his first song after the saga, “Fia.” Well, Davido doesn’t seem to be done yet.

In one of the biggest songs currently blazing on the circuit this year – DJ ECool’s “Ada,” which featured Davido, the “Like Dat“ sensation and MOBO Best African Act seems to have aimed a swerve at Carolina Danjuma again.

The pre-chorus of the song reads: “Filomina, I know me now, you know say that was a f**king mistake. What of Carolina, that one na gold digger, chai, so me I no do again.”
