Boiler Room to Release Documentary on Wizkid’s Royal Albert Hall Performance (Watch Teaser)

We know. You’ve probably already heard it one time too many that 2017 was an unbelievably spectacular year for Wizkid. From stellar international collaborations with superstars such as Drake and Ty Dolla $ign, to multiple local and international awards and recognition, to the well-received release of his stellar EP – Sounds From The Other Side. We know, but we just must remind you.

It’s barely a few days into 2018 and the year’s already looking to be an even greater one for the superstar. It would be recalled that the StarBoy boss headlined a sold-out show at London’s phenomenal Royal Albert Hall and treated thousands of fans to a thoroughly electrifying performance.

The Albert Sessions offer young, world-class artists who haven’t headlined at the Hall before the opportunity to showcase their talent. They also create an avenue for attracting younger audiences via lower ticket prices.

What fans of the Afrobeat heavyweight might not know however is that the spectacular Royal Albert Hall concert was documented by none other than Boiler Room TV.

The music broadcasting platform, which was founded in London by Blaise Bellville but also has regular operations in London, Amsterdam, New York City, Berlin, Lisbon, São Paulo, Mexico City, Kraków, Tokyo, Sydney, and Los Angeles, recently released a teaser for their documentary which is due to be released on Friday, the 5th of January.

Aptly titled ‘Wizkid: Lagos To London”, the documentary teaser shows Wizkid praying with his team backstage, before emerging on stage to the warm welcome of the audience.

Wizkid’s performance at the Royal Albert Hall was definitely one of the highlights of his career and, as such, was every second worth documenting. Die-hard fans of the superstar who couldn’t attend the London event would surely not want to miss this chance to catch a glimpse of the action.
