The popularity of African Musicians has been growing at a record breaking pace for the past five years or so. This African hype has seen the likes of , , and Diamond Platinumz plus other African musicians, team up with top international artists from the West. Barely months after Diamond Platnumz Partnered with American singer Neyo, for the track “Marry You”, releases a new song Pere, featuring Young Thug and Rae Sremmurd.

This comes shortly after collaborated with Vybz Kartel and Drake for two hits. But to be honest, Nigerian Musicians, and are putting on the map, hands down! Looking at the latest entry from , “Pere” featuring YT and Rae Sremmund, you can tell that musicians from the West are really recognizing the talent hidden in Africa.

Yogi x Maleek Berry x Ray BLK – Baby Ft. Kid Ink

This is not the first time and certainly not the last time has collaborated with some top of the chart American Hip Hop stars. Just a few months ago he collaborated with R.Kelly for the remix song “If” and Tinashe’s “How long” last year. also partnered with Wale for another hit song dubbed “Fine Girl” not to mention that he also did a song with Meek Mill sometimes ago.

Davido’s collabo with R.Kelly earlier this year birthed a really nice song “If”, one that has been doing very well in America. “Pere” is expected to be an even greater hit since it comes at a time when Rae Sremmund is shining in his newly reclaimed fame.

D'Tunes - Ori Owo Ft. Reminisce x Skiibii

The song starts with some muddled harmonies in the background while Young Thug initiates the tune with some little hums assisted by Slim Jxmmi. Swae Lee then starts the tune, “Left the club because we’re drunk already,” “Left your car, but you’ll come back and get it / If she did it, then she don’t regret it / Five gold chains and now they think I’m selling.”

This song is a real Hit! That’s for sure.
