After signing out of 2018 with a track title “Igitekerezo,” Rwandan singer King James makes a brilliant return with a track titled “Ese Uracyamukunda,” and it is currently trending in Rwanda and elsewhere.
Well, this should not surprise anyone. King James has a tradition of releasing fine songs. Here it may be said he is only continuing an old tradition and that the continuity is actually worth it.
By the way, before King James had signed out of 2018 with “Igitekerezo0” and even disappeared from our radar, he had dropped several critical numbers as well as collaborated with some major names on the music scene in Rwanda.
He had featured on Bull Dogg’s “Kora Ikofi” as well as dropped tracks like “Abo Bose,” “Agatimatima,” “Uri Mwiza” and “Hari Ukuntu.” What you have here is only a short list, of course. But it should pass as a fine introduction to songs by the Rwandan.
The weekend may be just hours to an end, but with “Ese Uracyamukunda,” it is unlikely the weekend will truly end for you. It just might continue somewhere in your head. And yes, you’re going to love the experience.
