Port Harcourt First Son Duncan Mighty may have referenced two political powerhouses in Rivers State in his latest song titled “Amaechi Nu Wike”: the sitting governor Barr. Nzenwo Nyesom Wike and the federal minister of transport Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi,
The two powerhouses are currently bickering while the state rots and stinks.
Duncan Mighty may well be taken as an example of the phrase, “never say never.” Written off by some industry watchers earlier, he had literally disappeared from the music. But they he made an audacious return and has remained in the limelight.
He recently featured on Iyanya’s “Halle.” By the way, Iyanya was at this pointing dusting himself off the cobwebs of the controversy generated by the claim that one-time Business partner Ubi Franklin cheated him.
Duncan Mighty featured on Magnito’s “Genevieve” earlier this month. Controversy soon broke out over the track, with Duncan Mighty accusing Magnito of not giving him due credit for the song.
“Amaechi Nu Wike” is Duncan Mighty’s first song of 2019, a successor to “Miekeraso,” released in late 2018.
