The Tanzanian rapper has got a trove of fine songs that you should check out. And the songs are still coming… With “Hisia,” “After My Money,” featuring Chemical, who had returned the favour by featuring Centano on “Queen of Dar es Salaan,” “Maumivu,” and several others, Centano has been inching his way to the top rung of musicians in Tanzania.
“Niongezee” should find a place among the top scorchers from Centano so far. It is a soul-stirring beauty that you should be pleased to call your own.
Moni Centrozone, another Tanzanian singer of note, the mastermind of “Mwaaah,” featuring Country Boy, and several others, had been co-opted on Chindoman’s “Dakika 90” alongside Jay Mo. He had gone on to do a duet titled “Tupo Hapa Leo” with Country Boy.
“Zee La Kukomesha” mastermind Country Boy is one musician from Tanzania whose songs delight. Among Country Boy’s offering so far are “I Like That,” featuring Barakah Da Prince and “Wanao Haya,” featuring 2Skizzy and Khaligraph Jones.
Centano, Country Boy and Moni Centrozone made a great team. Their delivery was excellent.
