Soon after the release of “Njiwa” featuring Nandy, followed by “Bora Uhai” featuring and recently “Imani”, thrills us with yet another chart topper.

Wilson Abubakar Radido popularly known as Willy Paul is an award-winning Kenyan  contemporary christian musician and songwriter.

He  was plunged into stardom with the hit single “Sitolia” featuring Gloria Muliro which was a success. Although Willy Paul  claims that he did not earn much from the song because Gloria Muliro allegedly owned exclusive copyrights to the song.

In  December 2013, Willy Paul launched his debut album which had songs like  “You never know”, “Lala Salama”, “Mpenzi” and “Kitanzi” at KICC graced by notable  musicians including Daddy Owen, Ben Githae, Gloria Muliro, DK Kwenye Beat, Men Of God (MOG), Size 8 and Mr Seed.

The talented Willy Paul soon found himself in a controversy after his rival musician in the industry, Bahati, accused him of stealing his song. This saw Bahati’s fans pounce on Willy Paul with harsh criticism over the social media, accusations he denied to have committed.

Willy Paul and Bahati made their reconciliation with prayers from the audience during the 10th annual Groove Awards Nominations in April 2015. Willy Paul also went on to scoop several awards nominations  with his hit song “Tam Tam”.

Having grown up in Mathare slums, the philanthropist, Willy Paul has set up his own foundation in Mathare to help the needy people in the area. Willy Paul has also made it his mission to assist young children with basic education and healthcare.

Over the years of his career, Willy Paul has carved his niche and earned several awards including the Groove Award Artist of the year in 2012. Willy Paul truly exceeds expectations with this new tune and we are happy to recommend it.
