The controversial rapper Shatta Wale and Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie broke the internet last week when Sarkodie fired shots at the dancehall artiste in his new diss song “My Advice“.
Their feud started when Shatta Wale called Sarkodie out in an interview he had on Hitz FM stating that the rapper refused to appear on set for the visuals of their hit collaboration “Dancehall Commando”.
The visuals of Shatta Wale’s chart topping single “Mind Made Up” was released in October and was directed by ace director, Sesan.
He kicked off the year in spectacular fashion by appearing in the visuals of “The Way I Move” by Shenseea in February. He released “Dukui”, “All Eyez on Me”, “419” and “Money Matters” featuring Dammy Krane in April. He also released “Chocolate Love” in May and then delighted us with “Ginger” and “Tomorrow Tomorrow” in August.
Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. popularly known as Shatta Wale is Ghanaian -born producer reggae- dancehall musician and CEO of Shatta Movement Records (SM).
He began making headlines in 2004 when he released his single, “Moko Hoo” featuring Tinny in 2004. The next year he dropped “No Problem” and “Obaa Yaa” which received an overwhelming amount of airplay making him a household name in Ghana.
Collaborator, Olamide has been unstoppable this year, he teamed up with Baseline artiste, Skales for the recently released single “Sarki”.
He has also released “Small Girl, Big God” featuring DJ Jimmy Jatt, “Logba Logba”, current street anthem “Motigbana”, and “Kana” featuring Wizkid and more.
One of Nigeria’s finest rapper, has also released various dance moves like “Science Student”, ‘Shaku shaku’. Olamide was plunged into spotlight with the release of his single “Eni Duro” in 2010. He released his debut studio album titled “Rapsodi” in 2011.
Although he mostly raps in Yoruba, Olamide has over six successful albums to his name as well as notable collaborations with Wizkid, Phyno, Pheelz , Lil Kesh, Tiwa Savage, D’Banj, Davido, Wale , Reminisce amongst others.
Olamide is also the first Nigerian artiste endorsed by Ciroc and his talent has earned him over twenty awards out of his numerous award nominations and comes through on “Wonders” which is a perfect marriage between Nigerian and Ghanaian style of music and we have a feeling that you will enjoy it.
