South African music star Tresor is really an exceptional artiste and once more, we are reminded of that as he brings a refreshing new song titled “Silale”. He scores the feature of South African acapella group The Soil on this track.
Tresor Riziki, born in the Democratic Republic of Congo but now based in South Africa has been a music icon worthy of celebration with the incredible talent he’s got and how he has been using it to promote good music.
Just last year, he released the album The Beautiful Madness to critical acclaim with hit songs like “Remedy”, “Speed of Sound” on which he featured Da Capo and “Never Give Up” with Shotgun Fakes making their rounds for weeks on end.
The multiple award-winning music star is set to release a new album tagged Nostalgia on January 25, 2019, and “Silale” is coming as the first single of that body of work, which is expected to be bigger and better than any of Tresor’s previous projects.
And, with influences such as Fela Kuti, Chicco Twala, and Brenda Fassie, it is little wonder that Tresor’s songs have stayed true to being an African voice.
Together with The Soil, he makes “Silale” a complete music, relaxing and totally soul-tugging.
