Navio who started his music career as a member of the award-winning hip hop group Klear Kut is no stranger to the industry. The music group, Klear Kut are behind the introduction of ‘ugaflow’ into Ugandan musical parlance.
Navio is such a big musical influence, not just in Uganda or even in East Africa but on the entire continent. It’s why he’s a member of the African super group, One8.
One8 has other artistes like: 2Face (Nigeria), Fally Ipupa (Democratic Republic of the Congo), 4×4 (Ghana), Movaizhaleine (Gabon), JK (Zambia), and fellow East Africans, Amani (Kenya) and Ali Kiba (Tanzania) and they released a song together titled “Hands Across The World” written and produced by R. Kelly.
Navio started off the year with “Nielewe” on which he featured Vanessa Mdee. The song which meant do you mind soon had a successor titled “Paper” in May on which he featured Ice Prince and The Mith before going on to feature on Beenie Gunter‘s “Kill A Man” later in May.
In July, he dropped “Gwe Asinga” that got the industry excited and with this new release, it’s easy to see why fans love this talented act. We say you should listen right away.
