YBNL new act Lyta has just released a single about the struggle and beautiful shift into the path of the good life. The single is titled “Self Made” and already has a video to go with it.
In “Self Made,” Lyta gratefully acknowledges Olamide’s role in his rise in Nigeria’s music space, and his relevance in it. Once upon a time he was obscure, ignored. Now he is recognized everywhere.
Olamide has a hand in all of this, so, well, thanks to him. Lyta raps: “Olamide don sign the boy/ Everywhere I go now they want to smile with the boy/ Shout out to the people now, wey dey show me love/ That small boy don turn biggie boy, biggie boy yeee/ Oluwa O shey, won mo bi owo shey wole…”
Rexxie did a great job with the song’s production. Another triumph for the YBNL nation Wouldn’t you rather give Lyta a chance to light your day with his vibes?
