NIGERIA Lyta – Self Made

– Self Made

YBNL new act has just released a single about the struggle and beautiful shift into the path of the good life. The single is titled “Self Made” and already has a video to go with it.

Self Made” is a triumph not just for but for Olamide himself. He had discovered Lyta and signed him on along with “Pesin” and “Ruff Play” crooner Limerick.

In “Self Made,Lyta gratefully acknowledges Olamide’s role in his rise in ’s music space, and his relevance in it. Once upon a time he was obscure, ignored. Now he is recognized everywhere.

Olamide has a hand in all of this, so, well, thanks to him. Lyta raps: “Olamide don sign the boy/ Everywhere I go now they want to smile with the boy/ Shout out to the people now, wey dey show me love/ That small boy don turn biggie boy, biggie boy yeee/ Oluwa O shey, won mo bi owo shey wole…”

Self Made” wouldn’t be Lyta’s first track since signing with YBNL though. He had released “Time,” in which he co-opted   Olamide, Ire (Adekunle Gold Cover), and  Save Me (Cover).

Rexxie  did  a great job with the song’s production. Another triumph for the YBNL nation Wouldn’t you rather give Lyta a chance to light your day with his vibes?
