Fresh off releasing his solidarity song for Bobi Wine titled “People Power”, talented Ugandan singer, Gravity Omutujju returns with a new one titled “Oswadde Bosiko” and it’s got tongues wagging and playlists a-buzzing.
Gravity Omutujju, whose birth name is Gereson Wabuyi, is CEO of Trouble Entertainment, a record label. His songs include “Ebijanjaalo” “Olimba” “Ndeekamwoyo”, “Batima,” “Walumbe”, Zaaya,” and “Omwoto”.
In 2013, he won the Teeniez Breakout Artist award and Best Hip Hop Song at the HiPipo Music Awards. He was again nominated in 2014 but didn’t win.
Gravity Omutujju started the year with a feature on OS Suna‘s remix of “Tewali Mbeera”. In May, he dropped “Black Panther” obviously to tap into the sign of the times then. “Kiyinji” followed in June alongside Tick Bwai before dropping “Kimanazino” earlier last month.
When news of Bobi Wine‘s mistreatment in jail filtered out, a lot of influential persons and artistes lent their voice to the struggle to free him from Museveni’s clutches. Well, Gravity Omutujju was one of the artistes that stood with the incarcerated artiste even if his song came slightly late.
On this new offering, Gravity continues to make progress and win his fans and new fans back, one song at a time, one jam at a time and we are happy to recommend the song.
