Coming fresh off his feature on KRG‘s “Whine” earlier in the month alongside Cassim Mganga, talented Tanzanian rapper, TID returns with a new one titled “Washa” and features previous collaborator, Cassim Mganga on it.
Produced by Abbah Process, “Washa” packs a delightful tune, not to mention the lyrics and fire brought by both artistes who know their way around music and the industry.
TID who started in 1994 has been one of the consistent face around for a while and while he’s been making good music, his career and life hasn’t been without controversies. The artiste was once jailed for 4 months for assault.
TID started his career with a music group known as Black Gangsters before going solo five years later. After going solo, he signed his first record label deal with Poa Records and subsequently released his first single titled “Mrembo” in 2002.
TID is behind hit songs like “Zeze”, “Siamini”, “Rahisa”, “Sifai”, “Pressure”, “Kiuno”, “Viwanjani”, “Nyota Yako”, “Kibakubaku” and has collaborated with top artistes like Rich Mavoko, Nazizi, Jaydee, Joh Makini, Ngwea, and others.
On “Washa”, TID and Cassim Mganga combine well to treat us to a musical experience unlike any other and we are delighted to recommend this.
