M.I Abaga – A Study On Self Worth: Yxng Dxnzl

Mr. Incredible (M.I.) Abaga, whose real name is Jude Abaga, the Chocolate City strongman, has released his “Yxng Dxnzl” album after all and his fans worldwide can now take relieved breaths and immerse themselves in the tracks.

“Yxng Dxnzl” is his eighth so far, following the release of “The Chairman.” The rapper, who won The Headies in 2015 with “The Chairman,” and in 2018 with “You Rappers Should fix Your Lives,” took to his Twitter handle to announce the release  of “Yxng Dxnzl.”

He tweeted: “Sigh! This album is career suicide, hopefully, you all are still with me.” The album may elicit controversy, but it certainly cut short M.I Abaga’s career. No. this is a work of disarming artistry and pack above the rest.

This album, which contains ten tracks, should required listening for every young man out there. Its messages are critical and would advance the thinking of anyone who listens to it.

M.I Abaga co-opted Odunsi The Engine and Lady Donli in track seven.

Among our favourite tracks are “Do You Know Who You Are? Take Some Time and Meditate On You,” “Stop never second guess yourself” and “I believe in Me, You Should too, Believe In You.”

The album isn’t banal. Far from it. It passed its messages clearly without being sententious or sermonizing. And that’s just one of the reasons to love it.
