Talented US singer, Camila Cabello is back with a remix of her hit song, “Real Friends”, one of the songs that appeared on her debut album. On this new offering, she featured Swae Lee whose recent collaborations with Wiz Khalifa, Travis Scott, and Nicki Minaj is making him one of the high-ranking artistes to watch.
Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, popularly known as Camila Cabello is a Cuban-American singer and songwriter.
She rose to prominence as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which was formed during the second season of the America’s X Factor in 2012, and thereafter signed to a joint record deal with Syco Music and Epic Records for their music releases.
As a part of Fifth Harmony, Camila Cabello began to establish herself as a solo artist with the release of several collaborations, including “I Know What You Did Last Summer” with Shawn Mendes and “Bad Things” with Machine Gun Kelly.
The latter reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in United States of America. After leaving the group in December 2016, Cabello released her debut solo single, “Crying in the Club” to a modest commercial performance.
Rebranding her sound to Latin-influenced music thereafter, her debut studio album, “Camila” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, with its lead single “Havana” topping the charts in several countries, including the United Kingdom and the United States.
Collaborator, Khalif Malik Ibin Shaman Brown, known professionally as Swae Lee, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is one half of the hip hop duo, Rae Sremmurd with his brother Slim Jxmmi.
In 2017, he was featured on the single, “Unforgettable” by French Montana, which reached the top three on the US Billboard Hot 100. His debut studio album, “Swaecation” was released on May 4 as a part of a triple-album set, which also contained studio albums “SR3MM” by Rae Sremmurd, and “Jxmtro” by Slim Jxmmi.
