Badagry-born Nigerian singer, Terry Apala has dropped yet another song in his quest to conquer this industry. The “Mo Popular” crooner entered the studio and cooked up a cover for Ramz‘s “Barking” and he titled it “Mushin”.
If you’re truly a lover of music and parties, then it is highly likely you have encountered the genius works of Terry Apala whose real name is Terry Alexandar Ejeh as he adopted the unique style of mashing the famous indigenous apala sounds with hip-hop beats.
The ingenious act and his versatility and relatable lyrics have earned him a top sport on the entertainment scene considering the relatively short time since he gained popularity.
Indeed, songs like “Champagne Showers”, “Mo Popular”, his creative cover of Ed Sheeran’s global hit song “Shape of You” and a host of other features such as his appearance on Ajebo Hustlers’ “Sophisticated Iyawo”, Uc Flamez’s remix of “Akwakuma” as well as on “Satisfied” alongside Fyah Pan.
Terry Apala ended last year by performing alongside Tiwa Savage, Praiz and Squeeze Tarela at the Hard Rock Cafe. He kicked off 2018 by featuring on Zayo‘s remix of Coloured alongside Wale Turner, Oladips, and Mzkiss. In March, he again featured on Sheun Natural‘s Gyrate.
In April, he dropped his first offering of the year titled “Joosi” and in June, he offered us “Keep Them Talking” and indeed, tongues have been wagging about his talent and the release of “Mushin” will only further raise his cred in the industry.
