Chicago rapper, Juice WRLD has been on a wave-making ride over the past few months. It isn’t surprising though – from storming the American hip-hop scene with hit single, “Lucid Dreams” to signing a $3 million deal with Interscope Records in March, the “All Girls Are The Same” hitmaker is success personified, and it isn’t surprising to see his fame continue to rise with each new dope joint released by him.
Still relishing the success of his Goodbye & Good Riddance project, the teen’s got more juices flowing, and it isn’t about to dry up anytime soon.
While he’s definitely cooking up another project despite suffering many leaks recently- Juice WRLD wants to take us on a reflective journey for now.
Juice WRLD decides to come through with a 2-song EP called Too Soon…which is assumed to be inspired by the late Florida rapper, XXXTentacion, who was tragically gunned down in Deerfield Beach on Monday.
Since the announcement, XXXTentacion’s death has casted a dark pallor over the hip-hop world, with many artists across the world still grappling to deal with his demise.
Hours after previewing the song on social media, Juice uploaded the second of the 2-song EP “Legends” to SoundCloud.
In a mournful tone that will leave you sombre and thoughtful, Juice croons, “This time it was so unexpected/Last time it was the drugs he was lacing/All legends fall in the making.”
