Talented Ugandan singer, Maurice Kirya is out with a new song he calls “Nze Ani” and it is a gospel song. In “Nze Ani”, Maurice Kirya is in a retrospective mood as he thinks of life and all that it is.
“Nze Ani” which means “Who Am I” forms the crux of Maurice Kirya’s new offering as he sings an amazing worship song from his heart.
Since the release of his album “Free Dreams” last year, the man we known in music circles as Mwooyo King has been largely silent prompting questions about him and his musical career.
What better way can there be to respond that with a song like “Nze Ani” that chronicles the goodness of God in his life as he takes stock of how he got where he is.
Maurice Kirya is not alone on “Nze Ani” as he recruited the musical arsenal of choristers who bring the necessary flavor to the song and give it a feel of a Sunday morning worship song.
Maurice Kirya who won the Discoveries Music Award in 2010 is behind hit songs like “Horses in the Sky”, “Never Been Loved”, and “Busaabala”.
While “Nze Ani” might be Maurice Kirya’s first song of 2018, we are excited about it and fully expect him to go on and gift us more amazing songs before the year runs out.
