Yorubadboi Music anchorman, Qdot reverts to the basics on a scorching tune that he titles “Atewo.” There’s just no doubting the fact the serial hitmaker might have raced to a brand new hit song.
Qdot managed two of the industry’s most danceable joints of the past year including “Ijo Gelede“ and “Apala New Skool.” Though he might have been on the low this season ever since he unleashed the club-banger, “Jalikima“ in February.
However, he has been on a roll of strategic collaborations having featured on records such as Klever Jay‘s “Base On 1 or 2,” “Ejuru (Remix)“ of K.Kash, as well as the soundtrack of Yoruba actor, Ijebu‘s movie titled “Jugunu.”
Only thing is Qdot looks to upset the status quo on the circuit as well as reawaken his own campaign with “Atewo.” This time, the indigenous singer made a return for the melodious worship song-inspired pattern that helped him break through in the first instance.
Records such as “Alomo Meta” which he premiered in 2013 as well as “Story Of My Life,” readily comes to mind. “Atewo” blends into a song of supplication and humour; making for an all-round and balanced output.
As expected usual suspect, Antras grabs production credit again and “Atewo” sounds every inch like one to dominate across social gigs and the dance floors.
